This grant is designed for students who are eager to engage in college life and contribute in ways that reflect Creston’s core values of leadership, service, and personal growth.


Recipients of the grant are expected to actively participate in building a positive college environment and take part in faith-based activities to enrich the Creston experience for themselves and others.

  • Eligibility criteria

    To be considered for the grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    Have applied for accommodation at Creston College 

    Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student for the grant duration 

    Demonstrate financial hardship 

    Hold a residency status of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen.

    NB: Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that a grant will be awarded. Due to limited funding, the selection process is competitive. Applicants are ranked according to how well they meet the selection criteria, and grants are awarded to those who best align with its objectives. 

  • CONDITIONS

    Duration:  The 2025 grant will remain in effect until the end of the Trimester 3 contract period. Recipients who wish to continue receiving the grant in future years must reapply annually.


    Eligibility maintenance:  The grant is contingent on continued positive engagement within the Creston community. In cases of serious concern — such as a significant decline in academic performance, disengagement from community life, or behaviour that breaches college guidelines—the grant may be withdrawn at the discretion of the Creston management team.
